Pastor Brian Sauvé

Married to Lexy for more than a decade and father of 6, Brian has been putting down roots in the state of Utah since 1999, a state he hopes will one day bend the knee to Christ.

He is one of the founders of St. Brendan’s Classical Christian Academy, a prolific musician, writer, podcaster, and more. Brian serves as the Pastor of Preaching & Liturgy at Refuge Church in Ogden, Utah. In his preaching, you will find a deep concern for the intersection of exegetical and biblical theology, the application of the faith to everyday life, and the Postmillennial hope.

Eric Conn

Eric has a degree in sports journalism, attended seminary in Louisville, KY, and has worked for over a decade in the firearms & outdoor media industry as a journalist.

He served as a pastor for several years in a small Western town, Chief of Staff at a conservative media company, editor in chief at Gun Digest magazine, and various other managing editor roles at Guns & Ammo Publications and the NRA’s Shooting Illustrated. He is the husband to one lovely wife and proud father to three strapping young sons.

When he’s not podcasting at The King’s Hall and Hard Men Podcast, he’s probably in the backcountry chasing elk, mule deer, or bear somewhere in the uncharted territory of the West.

Pastor Dan Berkholder

Dan has been a pastor at Refuge Church in Ogden, UT since 2016. Being a Wisconsin native, he attended and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stout with a degree in Business Management. He worked in the Hunting and Outdoors industry for over 10 years for Scheels, Sportsman’s Warehouse, MidwayUSA, and Browning licensed products, where he gained long experience as a product manager, buyer, and eCommerce merchandiser.

He is the husband of a polish beauty that he wooed in the archery department of a sporting goods store, father of four blonde-haired and rowdy boys.

Dan’s interests extend to his over twenty fruit trees, massive vegetable garden, and heirloom seed collecting. One of his greatest joys is to take his boys fishing, and when the weather cools—he will be chasing screaming bull elk in the mountains.

Ben Garrett

Ben graduated college summa cum laude with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Previously, he worked in the aerospace industry performing stress analysis to determine the validity of proposed repairs to Air Force jets.

Upon leaving the aerospace industry, Ben took the most natural next step, teaming up with New Christendom Press to run the Haunted Cosmos podcast, exploring the strangest corners of this world that isn’t just stuff. The classic engineer-to-bigfoot-podcast pipeline.

He is the husband of his beautiful college sweetheart who has given him two very zealous and handsome sons. He has faithfully served as a deacon of Refuge Church for several years now, where he is also currently enrolled as an Elder candidate.
